Inv. Yates joined the Wise Police Department on March 26, 2002. Prior to coming to Wise PD, Kevin had worked for Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office For 4 1/2 years. He is curently assigned to investigations and he enjoys working in Law Enforcement. He likes spending time with family and children. He is a General Police Instructor and teachs at Southwest Virginia Law Enforcement Training Academy. Kevin is also a member of the High Risk Entry Team.
